Hand-made in Diss

Heritage Collection

The full collection — hand-made and carefully chosen pieces from our Diss workshop, each one ready to wear or to spark a commission of your own.

The Heritage Collection marks fifty years of The Jewellery Workshop, and it began in the archive. Our designer Yvonne went back through half a century of photographs, drawings and bench notes, and kept arriving at the same three things in the work of our late founder, John Cameron Price: bold cabochon gemstones, swirling organic motifs, and metal shaped by hand.

Seven one-off pieces came out of it. The gemstones were hand-selected from our own curated stock, among them a matched pair of Colombian emeralds totalling 2.58 carats and a cushion amethyst cabochon in a deep, even purple.

Master Goldsmith Paul handcrafted several of them at the bench using the techniques this workshop has used since 1975. Two others, the amethyst ring and the tourmaline signet, were built in CAD by our designer Evé, then 3D printed, cast and finished by hand. Old methods and new ones side by side, which is roughly how the workshop actually runs.

Every piece is one of one, made in Diss, Norfolk. Come and try them on at 1 Market Place.
