Sizing & care
We size most rings free of charge before they reach you. Inexpensive silver rings are the exception — we can usually order your size instead. For valuable rings over £500 we size down free of charge; sizing up is charged only for the extra metal.
Rings can be resized at our Diss workshop, usually within five working days, and we’re always happy to advise on caring for precious stones and metals.

About this piece
One of a kind
A green tourmaline cabochon, 6mm by 4.2mm, set into a swirl of yellow gold that was formed by hand rather than cast, with gold beads applied along the curl.
Paul made it at the bench, and the asymmetry is deliberate. The curl follows the way the wire actually moved under the hammer, so the two sides answer each other without matching. That is the quality our founder John Cameron Price chased in his own work, and it is the reason this collection keeps returning to swirls and beads.
A hand-formed swirl behaves differently from a cast one. The metal is compressed as it is worked, so the gold ends up harder and the curl holds its shape, and every mark left in it is one a person made.
For its size this is the most wearable piece in the collection. The stone sits low, the swirl carries the width, and it goes with far more than a green stone has any right to.
