It was a pleasure to craft this exceptional quality sapphire engagement ring for one of our own staff members. Without her knowledge her partner chose the design, stones and metal for his perfect proposal piece. The ring features a fabulous 14 diamond cluster and oval blue sapphire all set in platinum for a contemporary take on the traditional cluster… of course she said YES!
Notes from the workshop A sapphire cluster ring is one of the most classic and iconic ring designs. The sapphire cluster was originally made popular by Princess Diana in the 1990’s. However, it has been modernised in many ways for the contemporary engagement ring market, such as a ‘wed-fit’ style to allow a flat wedding ring to be worn next to the shaped head.
