Bespoke
This unique Celtic inspired brooch was designed and crafted by our in house designers. A beautiful AA grade ruby was chosen to be the focal point in a bespoke brooch for a Ruby Wedding Anniversary. The brooch was pierced out of sheet silver and then 9ct gold granules and a 9ct collet were added for the stone. The hand engraving was added last to give the final flourish of detail in the overlapping pattern.
Notes from the workshop
Ruby is the traditional gift for a 40th wedding anniversary, which made it the obvious choice of stone here. Like sapphire, ruby is a variety of corundum, one of the hardest natural minerals after diamond, so it wears well as a brooch meant for regular use.
