About this piece
A freshwater pearl sits at the heart of each earring, wrapped by two loops of diamonds that curve around it in a teardrop. The loops are set at different heights, so the diamonds catch the light from the side as well as the front, and the pearl stays the calm centre of it all.
Pearl and diamond is one of the oldest pairings in jewellery because each flatters the other: the soft lustre of the pearl next to the sharp sparkle of the diamonds. These are studs, so they sit close to the ear and go from a wedding morning to an ordinary Tuesday without a second thought.
