This stunning ring centers around a deep 10.00ct tanzanite cabochon surrounded by 18ct yellow gold. The sides are accented with four princess cut diamonds, flush set into square collets. The style of the ring was inspired by ancient cameo jewellery from c.1300, which featured large stones and a decorative border. This piece was designed and made in house within our workshop, based in Diss, Norfolk.
Notes from the workshop
Tanzanite is only found in one place on Earth, a single deposit near Mount Kilimanjaro, and wasn’t discovered until 1967, which makes a stone this size, cut as a cabochon rather than faceted, genuinely rare.
