Seal Engraved Signet Ring

This bespoke signet ring was made in our on-site workshop and then ‘seal engraved’ with an unusual mermaid crest. The type of engraving used on signet rings varies dependent on the design, however the most traditional and most luxurious is the hand engraved seal engraving. This technique is still done using traditional methods that date back hundreds of years by master craftsmen. Originally this type of engraving was used to ‘seal’ the envelopes and documents of gentlemen using a wax. This wax was dripped onto the paper and then pressed with your personal family crest using the deep engraved ring.
