Using stones from 3 different rings this striking 9 stone diamond and sapphire ring was formed using our in house design team. The ring was constructed in 18ct white gold and the stones set into rub over collets for a modern look. This piece keeps the sentimentality of the previous rings whilst creating a new wearable statement piece of jewellery. This style of multi-stone ring can be done with different types and any number of stones.
Notes from the workshop
Blue sapphire’s colour comes from traces of iron and titanium in the corundum crystal, the same mineral family as ruby. Because this ring draws its nine stones from three different heirloom rings, no two facets in it share exactly the same history.
