The inspiration behind this piece was to reimagine treasured family jewellery into a bold, organic design, showcasing a stunning emerald and cherished inherited diamonds. From the initial sketches and stone selection, through the crafting of its sculptural form we’ve documented every step of this rings creation.
A glimpse into the selection process for our latest bespoke emerald and diamond ring.
This sketch is where it all started. You can see the initial ideas taking shape, with the emerald as the focal point, surrounded by the flowing, organic lines that will hold her precious diamonds. We’re passionate about creating pieces that tell a story, and by reusing her metal and stones, we’re not only creating a new piece of jewellery, but also carrying forward a piece of her family’s history.

Here our goldsmith, Paul, carefully applies heat to 18ct yellow gold and platinum rods. This precise process makes the metal malleable, allowing him to shape the foundation for our bespoke emerald and diamond ring. Every curve and detail is meticulously crafted by hand, forming the essential base for the setting. Next, we’ll add the prongs to prepare the piece for the gemstones.
