Zircon is often confused with cubic zirconia due to its name. Zircon is however its own stone with unique properties. The intense azure blue colour is the trademark of the stone, rivalling the blues of tourmaline and topaz. It is also one of the only coloured gemstones that shows the dispersion of colour that is seen in diamonds, making them a dazzling choice for a centre stone. This bespoke ring uses the cool whiteness of platinum set against the blue zircon.
