Green Sapphire and Rose Gold Ring

Often when people think of sapphire they immediately think of blue… And of course they are right, however few people are aware that sapphires come in a range of colours including yellow, orange, pink and green.
This green sapphire originally was in a rub over collet surrounding the whole stone. Due to its unusual dark tone, our customer wanted the collet holding the stone to be remodelled. The collet was changed to a double claw collet in white gold, whilst the rose gold ring shank and diamonds remained the same. The double claw collet is open at the sides which allows more light to get to the stone and enhance the colour.
