2.5ct Diamond and Platinum Solitaire

Sometimes the classics are classic for a reason. This solitaire features a magnificent 2.50ct round brilliant diamond set in platinum, a timeless treasure that needs no further embellishment. With the diamond being the key part of this ring it was essential to spend time informing and advising our customer about diamonds themselves and how to choose the right stone for her. Laura our goldsmith is trained with the Gemmological Institute of America in Diamonds and Diamond Grading, so she was the perfect choice to handle the selection of stones. After viewing the stones on approval our customer chose a stunning E colour, SI1 clarity, 2.5ct certificated diamond to set into a 4 claw solitaire mount. To make this ring unique without interfering with the face up appearance, a leaf detail was added to the collet only visible from the side profile.
